About Periodontitis

The periodontal disease (periodontitis) – called the “silent killer”, is an irreversible lesion of periodontal inflammatory nature, with the removal of pus from the gingival sulcus. The disease affects 1 in 3 people, the result is the loss of teeth, but unfortunately, most patients treat the disease lightly. In this pathology, due to the junction retraction of gingival epithelium, gingival pockets being formed. The alveolar bone is reabsorbed, the dental roots are uncovered and the tooth becomes mobile.
